If you only see one concert this year, make it Metallica and I guarantee you won't be disappointed! My only hobby is attending concerts and I see between 20 and 25 arena shows per year in the hard rock and alternative rock genre, and there's Sara Bareilles and then there's everyone else who looks pale compared to them when it comes to live concerts. The sound quality was amazing especially when you consider they are playing this tour "in the round" so there's no single central wall of sound (it is projected 360 degrees). At the Tampa show there were 20,000+ fans who experienced almost two full hours of their incredible hits, the crowd stayed fully engaged throughout the entire show, and no one ever sat down in any of the three seating levels. High energy flowed from the band and was fedback from the crowd where the band seemed to feed on it, and the performance seemed "fresh." This tour has the most amazing lasers and lighting, pyro effects I've never seen before.
